My name is Gretchen. I am a confident freelance designer, maker and dresser currently working in the fields of film, television and theatre. My skills range from advanced knowledge of mens and womens historical and contemporary pattern cutting and draping, costume construction on both industrial and commercial machines, handsewing, toile making, tailoring, millinery, corsetry and frame construction, dressing, costume filing and alteration, as well as, basic experience with stage makeup, theatrical set construction and scene painting, fabric manipulation, dying and screen-printing
